TOWN OF HARMONY - Request for Qualifications

Iredell County is assisting the Town of Harmony by publicizing its Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified professional engineering firms to provide On-Call Civil Engineering Services.  Iredell County is providing this notice as a courtesy to assist the Town with publicizing the opportunity.

The Town of Harmony, North Carolina (the “Town”), through its Engineering Services Division, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) from qualified professional engineering firms interested in providing on-call civil engineering services on an as-needed basis. The Town intends to establish a pool of pre-qualified firms from which individual task orders will be issued over the term of the resulting agreement(s).  The Town anticipates a broad and variable workload driven by capital improvement planning, utility system rehabilitation and extension, roadway and stormwater projects, development review support, and grant funded infrastructure initiatives. Because a significant portion of the anticipated work may be funded in whole or in part through federal and state grant and loan programs — including the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development programs — respondents must demonstrate the capacity to deliver services in full compliance with applicable grant requirements, including procurement, reporting, and audit provisions described in this RFQ.
